Special Education

Extera Public Schools welcomes all students! We are open to enroll and provide services to all students. Our special education program is founded upon the belief that inclusion to the greatest extent possible is the most beneficial educational program for all of our students. In our inclusion based model, all of our students spend at least 50% of their school day in their general education class with non-disabled peers. The special education program at Extera supports upwards of 15% of our student population at Extera, with services and supports individualized to ensure the development of the whole student.
